Founded in Ankara in 2017, Atlas Grup San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. continues its activities as an active company. In 2020, it was restructured and transformed into a Joint Stock Company by being purchased by the intellectual founder of “Atlas Kültürel A.Ş.”, with its type and main articles of association arranged accordingly. It achieved its current status in April 2021, along with its ongoing projects.
Atlas Kültürel Yönetim Planlama Danışmanlık A.Ş. operates within the framework of national and international legislation for the management, documentation, and preservation of cultural heritage, as well as providing field solutions as requested in areas where cultural assets are located. With its expert team, the company is dedicated to the protection of all movable and immovable cultural assets that are shared treasures of the Earth, ensuring their transmission to future generations. It is the first Turkey-based company recognized by law that serves national and international authorities and organizations, as well as public and private entities, with the capability to operate in Turkey and other countries in the surrounding region.
The activities of Atlas Kültürel A.Ş. are conducted in accordance with the standards of national and international organizations, supported by national and international academic circles, and in line with relevant legal frameworks such as Law No. 2863 on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage, Law No. 5225 on Cultural Investments and Incentives, the European Convention on the Protection of Archaeological Heritage (Law No. 4434), Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, Law No. 2872 on the Environment, Law No. 3194 on Zoning, and other relevant legal regulations. The company works in consultation with the relevant Ministries, Presidencies, Public Institutions, and organizations, as well as local Museums and Conservation Boards, following their knowledge, recommendations, and opinions. Projects are carried out with the support of experts from various disciplines, including Philologists, Anthropologists, Archaeologists, Art Historians, Urban Planners, Architects, Survey Engineers, and other necessary specialists.
